Since I finished my first (very long I might add) quarter, and finished all those nasty exams, though the half-days were a perk... We were able to go to Wisconsin though it decided to rain and sprinkle for the majority. Got a lot of cool pictures which I just uploaded to my flickr account... Blah it takes forever to upload :D
Went to Monroe to see my Great-grandparents' graves (slept most of the way there to be honest, was woken up waaay too early if you ask me), then continued on to New Glarus which is like a small Swiss town americanized, was cool but expensive. Turns out it was the weekend for weddings in Wisconsin, all the hotels were filled to the gills with people! Really enjoyed Old World, was very similar to the German History Places, reminded me a bit of Jamestown as well just not as commercial :D
For some reason I forgot to bring a back-up music device so after three straight hours my iPod was on its way to dying and I was about to drive everyone else in the car up the wall on the trip back home. Long story short I started singing Aladdin's Friend Like Me without the lyrics with lots of humming and off-tuneness.... Mom was not amused.
I think I speak for everyone in my family that we were very glad to be home again; in our own beds
