I've finally finished my first sock; I outsmarted myself once I finished the gusset and rearranged the stitches which I discovered messed up the toe decreases so I had to rip back 13-14 rows. The gusset also took extra time because some stitches dropped so I had to rip back around 3 1/2 rows (the gusset is where there are the most stitches; around 90 in the beginning) .
