Somewhat surprisingly yesterday I made these two birds out of needle felting. Considering my fear of needles and barbed anything it is quite the feat. I roughly followed the patterns in wool pets by Laurie Sharp and had an aha! moment about the shaping; I would recommend its intro if you are having difficulties.
