Granny Blanket Progress

I got tired of having a stack of granny squares so I crocheted together all those that I've made so far together. Currently it's a 5x5 of the Big squares with more on the way.
It won't be grey or rainy all Winter right?
Colors are a lot more vibrant in real life...

Pink Cowl

I actually finished this a few weeks ago... This is three balls of Plymouth Suri Merino yarn; it was on sale so I'm not entirely sure of the colorway or if it's been discontinued...
My default cowl pattern, which is lovely warm and takes about two days of off and on crocheting.
Once again no sun, so unlike the way my camera behaves, the cowl has lots more pink tones.

Feather & Fan Shawl

I really want show you my new stitch markers but for now this is how far I've gotten with my new shawl.

I used the free pattern Multnomah by Hello Knitty which is basically a combo of garter stitch and feather & fan.
I wanted it a bit longer than the pattern calls for so I'm doing almost twice the number of feather & fan repeats. With my tension we'll see how large it gets : )

I'm using Jojoland Melody 100% superwash wool colorway MS43.
I'm on my second ball but still have several others which I think will be left over; maybe a pair of socks?

Instead of Cards...

 Three down, Three to go.

I've finally gotten them down so they only take a few minutes to create. Copy paper can create a variety of sizes, is fairly neutral in color, and doesn't have a wrong side.

I believe there are several tutorials, videos, and books which have instructions for an origami crane. When I have free time (Christmas Knitting is still Inprog., yes it deseves capitals) I'll try to find a few/ take photos when it's sunny.

Made this cowl out of chunky acrylic in case the person I gift this to is allergic to natural fibers. I have to admit it was not fun working with a large hook and trying to have a loose tension : )

It's Red Heart Homespun; I think the colorway is Berry Bliss.
My camera doesn't like pinks in unnatural light.

A truer color close-up; not much sun to be had in the past few days.

Holiday Season

It's the holiday season and most of what I'm doing right now still needs to be secret so; pretty pictures...

Loved this idea for a winter fountain; lights instead of water.

More colorful than I usually go for but it works well here.

This week I'll be uploading most of the projects I've finished which can be shared; and prepping for sharing after Saturday.
