I'm still slowly spinning this is approximately 3 oz...
Right now I'm liking the color of the blue the best but we'll see how well it plys up... This is Knitpicks Wool of the Andes Roving colorways: Amethyst and Sapphire Heathers.
I saved up for a wheel of my own and chose a KromskiMinstrel.
I've already spun over two ounces and I think I'm getting a feel for it. More pictures will be coming once it stops raining.
Figuring out how to put it together took longer than I expected; although Gizzy was excited to be part of the process...
I'm still slowly working on this but it's slow going looking at the pattern every other row. If you would like pattern details you can get them at my previous post here; the yarn is Tahki Stacy Charles Superior in colorway: Bubblegum.
I'm knitting it on size 6's circulars so I can slide the stitches onto the cable when I'm not knitting without worrying about dropping a stitch; and because they're lighter than my straights.
Made this project bag from half of a kerchief from Walmart. I still need to sew two for Em and one more for me once the sewing machine works again. I actually finished this closer to Halloween but camera/lighting haven't cooperated since.
Now that it's getting cold I need mittens and I thought I'd celebrate with one of my favorite colorways of Heart and Sole by Red Heart; Antique Rose. These are knit on size 2's and using my mitten pattern on size 2's.
I used the free version on Ravelry but a pay version of the pattern is available too. I did a few more pattern repeats than is called for and it's a good thing I didn't do any more because I definitely would have run out of yarn.
This was knit on size 6 needles, with the wonderful Araucania, Huasco colorway 3.
Just wanted to warn you that Knitpicks is discontinueing its Stonewashed colorway; I found it on Cyber-Monday and grabbed enough for a large shawl and a cowl...
