Wildflower Montage

Starting at the upper left moving right and down the flowers are as follows: Spring Beauty, White Trillium, Blue Phlox, Yellow Wood? Violet, Common Blue Violet, Spring Anemone, Foam Flower, and Jack-in-the-Pulpit. All of these bloom in early Spring (not now) but my camera and photo editing took time

(New camera less than a year old, after being babied the entire time, decided to completely die.
I'm back to using my surprise battery popping camera; any pressure on the battery lid/flap and the batteries spring out energetically from the bottom of my camera)

Cowls...

Morning Glory Ribbed Cowl; knit on size 6 needles with 2? balls
of left over yarn from my Morning Glory Sweater (Knitpicks City Tweed DK).
My own pattern, lots of fun and a present to Mom for Christmas.

Teal Pretty Picot Cowl based on my shawl design (see tab above).
Originally knit for Em but was rejected as too tight and now is for me : ) .
Knit on size 6 needles and used one skein of Knitpicks Gloss Fingering
in the colorway Kenai.

Grape Garter Ribbed Cowl;  my own pattern knit for me out of 2 balls
of Knitpicks Andean Treasure colorway Royal Heather on size 6 needles.
I believe this was knit before my first Pretty Picot Cowl (above).

Pretty Pink Picot Cowl; knit on size 6 needles, a real theme for me apparently : ) ,
out of Knitpicks Shadow Tonal in colorway Summer Blooms; unfortunately this is discontinued.
Still have some of this left which needs to be knit up with another color to change up my use of this yarn...

Cowls are a true staple of my wardrobe because scarves are one of my least favorite things to knit.
The irony being I have about 14? repeats left of my Twin Leaf Scarf;
maybe this  should be one of my Stash Dash 2014 goals...
