You don't see anything...

Well I'm still working on my various WIPs; my scrap blanket, my granny square blanket, my shawl, Dad's socks, my scarf, a kumihimo braid, and an embroidery project.
Wow; didn't realize just how many I've got going... Huh.

I've also come up with some exciting new projects but; since they're a head start on Christmas, I'm going to have to be sneaky and show them to you in little pieces.
*Mother Nature is attempting to bring snow to our area rather unsuccessfully so I'm afraid the lighting is rather terrible.*

I will say I'm loving the projects I'm coming up with; which are a mix of various free and my own patterns.
I think I'll post little pieces like this until Christmas...

W.I.P.'s

Slowly working on the 6x6 of my scrap sock yarn blanket.
Turns out just thinking about a project doesn't actually increase its size.

My feather & fan scarf is going swimmingly.
I just finished my first ball of yarn and I'm starting on the second.
In the finished product you'll be able to tell where the balls changed because I over thought the color change and cut off the majority of the orange on the second ball so the color doesn't go on as long as it should.
When stretched it's a bit over 3ft.

My shawl is slowily becoming bigger.
I tend to get a few rows done here and there because a row takes about 30 minutes now and I don't like leaving lace mid-row. The color is actually a bit deeper in real life; robin's egg, deep magenta, and royal purple.

The patterns for my scarf and shawl are not mine.
The designers and links to a pattern can be found in my previous posts.
I'll repost all the links; credits when they're finished.

Granny Mandala

I've been seeing crochet in embroidery frames and I wanted to try it for myself.
I estimated the final blocked size until I thought it would overhang the hoop slightly. I think I'll be doing this again with some different colors.

Wall Art

Mom & I went to the craft store yesterday to pick up embroidery hoops. We're putting a fav. fabric into them then hanging them on the wall. I still have one to go; it's a surprise.

I've made lots of progress on my projects in the past week or so but with Mother Nature cold and gloomy my photos are not turning out well. As soon as I have sun and am not sick any more I'll have updates. : )

Sneak Peak...
