Bunny Love

Clover will even come to your feet for a pet and sulks if she isn't held at least once a day

Cinnamon always manages to clear all the cobwebs away

Cinnamon and Clover are very interested in this basket...

We've discovered if we're careful we can let the bunnies explore our porch.
They seem to love large sheets of paper, pine cones, and toilet paper rolls.

Random Progress

Still working on granny squares for my blanket. It's slow going but I'm getting closer...

New Projects

My new socks I'm working on...
They're Patons' Kroy sock yarn colorway Grey Brown Ragg; but I'm thinking of them as my Buckeye Socks : )

Our garden doesn't really like the heat but everything is doing well except our tomatoes.

We're loving our fire pit and all our pretty stacked wood...
As it gets cooler it will be fun to bring out the marshmallows : )

Granny Square Lap Blanket

I've finished my granny square lap blanket...

The edging is some blend of Knitpicks cotton, I got it at a sale without a ball band, and the rest is varying shades of Knitpicks Shine Sport Yarn.

The edging is my own pattern and can be found in my pages up above or HERE.

When I was starting to run out of yarn I did several rows back and forth along the top and bottom for extra length before I edged it with green. I even blocked this with a light misting of water which seemed to help open up the blanket a bit.

Walks

Almost every afternoon we've been taking Gizmo for a walk when it's not raining....

I love taking photos of things I want to remember...

Nautical Socks

These socks were pretty cool in that every five rows the stripe would change.

These are Patons' Kroy Blue Striped Ragg knit on size 3 needles. I must say these zoomed along.

Sunflowers

As I was uploading photos I noticed how many I took of sunflowers...
these are some of the best.

Dr Seuss Socks

Loved these socks as well; not my usual color choice but were fun to knit through their quasi-unpredictability. This is Red Heart Heart & Sole colorway Spring Stripe. I knit these on size 1 needles. It was fun but I don't think I'll be doing it again unless I really love the colorway as I was trying to knit Em's socks at the same time so that they would be ready by her B-Day...

Em's Birthday Socks

Made these for Em on her B-Day to her specifications. I can't find the ball band for these but I'm fairly certain that they're Patons' Kroy sock yarn of some kind. These were knit on size 3 needles. In the second sock the stripes were off about a row or so; keeping me on my toes I guess.

Lovely Days

These were so pretty and just happened upon.
I was able to get amazingly close and got several photos : )

Our flowers have grown so well this year; quite a few are taller than I am.

I've finished two pair of socks and have been working on other projects as well; unfortunately those photos didn't turn out. I went to a yarn warehouse sale and attempted my first attempt at spinning today. The neighbor's cat was fascinated. Pictures will follow when life and lighting cooperates.

Michigan

The waves were really high but we love this beach for its stones and occasional views of boats.

These signs warning to go slow for pedestrians were everywhere but this little guy was unique near a fish stand.

It was a gorgeous week.
