Blooming Beauties

Throughout our woods forget-me-nots in blue, white, and pink are blooming.
I think they're loving the wet weather we're doomed by.

Jack-in-the-Pulpit's are sprouting... I've found four.

Pear blossoms.
Our cherry and apple are blooming too...

Morel Mushrooms

It's rained enough here that we're starting to get mushrooms...
I found these down the hill near our rabbit hutch.

These are edible; but you do have to prepare them before you can eat them.
I found four... I hope more pop up.
I always thought they looked like brains.

Easter Projects

I'm going to be visiting family over Easter, hope the weather goes against the forecast and is sunny.
Anyway I've started the second sock of Razzle Dazzle; still knitting the calf section.

Em's getting the pink Easter egg and the blue chick...

See right there..

For a size comparison....
He's about the size of the top joint of my thumb including his tuft feathers.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

I hope it's sunny for our egg hunt...
Can you spot the robin's egg?

I love the colors of the tulips.
In real life the sun just makes the flowers glow; somehow a picture just doesn't capture it well.

Snow Peas

We're slowly getting our garden going, the random spurts of cold are not helping.

Spring Beauties

I love the variation in these small flowers.

Razzle Dazzle

Lots of rain and cold, but with hopeful hints of Spring. I love all the flowers that are coming out.

Finished my first Razzle Dazzle sock! Loving the colors, I wish there were larger stripes of aqua. I have enough to make mini socks but that will have to wait until after Easter at least. I'm swamped with work at the moment.

Razzle Dazzle Socks

Ok my new sock in progress. I actually thought I had a second ball of this, but I guess I need to make a trip to the craft store. It's Red Heart Heart & Sole colorway: Razzle Dazzle.
The blue is more of a bright aqua and the pink a bright magenta with a goldenrod yellow. I love knitting this; it goes really fast. Luckily I've got other sock yarn : ) I'm also using their sock pattern- also found at the link- which I've noticed doesn't mess up the patterning of the stripes in the gusset.

Pretty Flowers

It's finally warmed up so I've been out walking and taking photos. I'm pretty sure I only need to make one more square before I can show off my granny squares. I really need to continue working on Easter prizes as well.

Sun & Spring Socks!

My camera died before I could take a picture of some of the other flowers; hope the sun comes back tomorrow.

Talk about extreme knitting these socks were knit from one ball!
What is threaded on the needle was all that was left after the kitchner stitch....

Colorway: Spring Fling.
Can't wait to start my next pair of socks : )

Tulip in the Sun

It's amazing how much color the sun adds; so pretty.

Bunnies!

Clover

Close-Up of Clover

Cinnamon-Bun

Clover is mine and likes to be held; Em's Cinnamon-Bun is a bit more skittish.
Dad built their hutch (it still needs some decorative paint so no pictures have been taken).
There's been very little camera action happening but lots of snuggling.
I'm sure lots more photos will be taken as we all settle in.

Spring Fling Socks Progress

Well I've finished one sock and I'm slogging through the calf section of the second. I have lots of sock yarn stacking up in delish colors which I'm itching to knit but I'm being good. I only have 4 granny squares to create before I can show you how far I've gotten on my blanket we'll see how much spare time I have this week.

Hints of Spring

More of our bulbs are coming out oh so slowly. I can't wait for warm weather and true Spring. Gah, this push me pull me weather is driving me nuts.

Shawl Finished!

I love how quickly this was to knit. I finished before I ran out of yarn because any bigger and it would have made me look even shorter.

Pattern by Beyenburgerin Lion's Mane. Knit on size 6 needles with one ball of Knitpick's Alpaca Cloud colorway Raspberry Heather.
