Granny Square Pendant

Mom wanted to make these triangular granny squares and I went through the pattern with her. I still have to block them but I'm waiting for a nice sunny day to do that; maybe on a folded beach towel. The border is slightly annoying but crochet up a little faster than a granny square. Mom saw the pattern first on Attic24, who got the pattern from  Crochet with Raymond.

Tulip

Right before the rain storms hit our tulip bloomed.
I love how they almost look like a poppy in the sun.

Sock Progress

Yesterday I knit the heel and gusset and I've now started on the long foot. I like the sock much better since I decided on a longer calf section.

Daffodils

Saw these beauties in the woods blooming all by their lonesome.
Our daffodils barely have buds.

Fun in the Sun

Went for another walk with Gizmo; he was all excited about the squirrels and mud.

Made another dustbunny in grey;  it took forever to find that color of funfur.
I really like how cute he turned out.

He has a little white tail but his fur is obscuring it.

Sock Progress

I'm not sure I like how this is knitting up; we'll see.
It's Deborah Norville Serenity Sock Weight colorway Spring Fling.

Lion's Mane Shawl 2.0 Progress

Slowly but surely making progress.
I'm using Knitpicks Cloud 100% Baby Alpaca so light and soft : )

This is what the back of the shawl looks like and the color is closer to reality.

Went for a Walk

Love how Spring is slowly showing up : )

Granny Square Blanket

Can you believe he was totally asleep before I turned the camera on?

My progress so far. I've been using Knitpicks palette yarn and an F crochet hook.

No two sqares are the same : )

Sunny Day

Helped out in G.'s garden yesterday cleaning up from Winter.
It was so pretty and warm.

Saw my first crocuses that were actually open.
It's been rainy all week; bleck.

Dustbunnies

I played with my pattern a little using a F hook instead of an E hook and larger eyes. I really like how quickly they turn out. I think it would be a fun cleaning game to hide different numbers of them in a room and try to find them all.

March Candy Canes

My Grandma's recipe; it has vanilla and almond extract instead of peppermint. Yum

New Scarf

I made this scarf with the remaining yarn from my Granny Square blanket by following Attic24's tutorial for a granny stripe blanket.

Shawl Progress

This is the same pattern & yarn of my last shawl; Lion's Mane by Beyenburgerin
but on the suggested bigger needles.
I love how fast this knits up and how soft the yarn is.

Snowdrops

Spring is finally starting to show!
Our first snowdrop of the season.

Apple Pie

Yum : )

Rose Socks

I love these socks! I don't know if I even want to wear them. The weather is all grey so it took longer than I thought to get a picture. Once again they're Red Heart- Heart & Sole colorway: Antique Rose. I've also started new socks but have very little to show at the moment. I'm having problems with laddering
