Cotton Socks

I've never made cotton socks before but I'm thoroughly enjoying how this is knitting up. The yarn doesn't split and for cotton is rather springy. The colorway is lavender though it makes me think of Easter. I'm thinking ankle socks....

Granny Square Blanket

All 104 Squares done but not sewn together. I used

 Carina's Craftblog's tutorial for joining my granny squares.

I really like how the joining looks really smooth on both sides; though the ends got tiring.

The edging is mine, I have a tutorial in my pages to create it. (Above) My hands hurt after crocheting around the edge of the blanket so many times.

Dad's Socks

I finished Dad's socks finally but I haven't taken a pic yet of the finished socks. : )

Monkey

I made this little guy for Mom for Christmas and forgot photos.

The pattern for both the monkey and overalls are Fuzzy Mitten's.

I thought it was really clever how you could leave a space for the tail and use i-cord for the straps of the overalls.

The built in lace pattern helped keep the pattern from being monotonous and looks really difficult but is surprisingly simple.
