Spring Header

Yay, finally I finished coloring all the different pieces for the spring header. Seeing the Christmas one up for so long was a little embarrassing... I still have extra pieces so maybe another header around Easter?? I know I'll do one around Halloween and Summer because I got distracted and started to draw pirate mice...

Yet Another Snowy Day

Hope everyone is staying warm, we've gotten about another 5" to add to our 14".... Gizmo is most upset that he can't see over the snow drifts. :) The birds seem to have survived as they're all stocking up; we still seem to have blue birds too.

I'm sitting on the couch with my quilt and a pillow I stuffed today watching Winnie the Pooh with a cup of hot cider. I have the feeling it will take a very long time until I finish quilting...

As a side note I'm also working on my kokeshi, protecting their paint job; although it's so smelly I'm waiting until it's warm enough to open a window a bit to continue.

Snow Day

You'd never believe me if I told you we had six bluebirds at our feeders yesterday...

Em got off school early and is working on the mess under her bed... And Mom's helping me with my quilt and has scolded me quite thoroughly because I didn't plan out in measured detail... the pieces aren't even numbers and lets just say I ran out of the dark fabric I was planning on using as edging and leave it at that :)
