After several days of various frustrating stringing attempts ( thank goodness the main beading only had to be done once ) I finally decided on memory wire.... now it only has to be trained into the right shape so it won't pop up on my neck... hence the bowl on one of the ends. I have a feeling there was an easier way to construct the necklace ( I only looked at a photo and decided I'd like to try to make it ) and as it stands since my way involved lots of crimp beads, short wires, and glue I don't think I'll attempt this kind of necklace anytime soon... :D In actuality the beads are more of an oil spill color but my camera has a funny flash and apparently was feeling grouchy with me from lack of use.. ah well
